Imagine you arrive at the MVCC in the afternoon. Your first view from above - the conical roof
of the restaurant, and the three bungalows below - all melting into the environment...
Then you'll see the restaurant...
and will want to take in the view from there,
before going down to your bungalow.
Perhaps you have a double
or a group room with two singles and a full size bunk bed.
You'll probably want to freshen up after your long journey -
all rooms have an en-suite shower and toilet.
but unfold your mosquito net, ready for the evening...
before dashing out to take in the views.
The Rift Valley Escarpment (upon which we sit) goes up to the north, with the extinct volcano Kitumbeine (2,800m) standing proud in the valley.
To the east the hills change colour with every hour of the sun, from sunrise to dusk,
and to the south, from Bungalow C you can see the northern end of Lake Manyara!
Each dawn has its surprises: from this sombre brown to brilliant orange spectacles.
You'll be looking forward to dinner in the open restaurant
and to our cultural evenings - here the Mbulu people relate tales of every day life through dance and song.
Our Maasai friends from Mafuta Boma will also come too!
Their chanting and rythmic dance is an experience you will never forget.
And finally off to a good night' sleep...
each of our rooms with a different type of African flair.
